I discovered the library my freshman year. I was wandering around downtown, looking for the library, and kind of stumbled onto it. It was so coolóbright, warm and really inviting.

We donít get much sun in Syracuse, and itís really nice to have a building where you can be inside and still feel like youíre outside. Plus, the library has a huge childrenís book section, which we donít have on campus. I was, like, I love this place!

So when I read the poem, I knew exactly what the poet was saying. It was as though he had written about me, sitting in the library, looking out the windows, gazing at the clouds and daydreaming.

From my little seat
in a glass box full of books
I watch clouds go by
